Hey guys.

Well, it's finally happening, I guess.
I've been dreading this day ever since I found out about Eclipse, and it still appears that feedback isn't being fully listened to.
As much as I'd like to hope that reconsideration will happen, the truth is that Eclipse is here to say, whether we like it or not.

First of all, I want to make it clear that I will not be deactivating my account.
I've posted quite a lot here, made a couple connections that I don't want to lose,
and I hate when stuff I've liked gets put into storage or outright disappears.
My account is staying for the foreseeable future.

I haven't decided if I will be leaving dA completely as of yet,
however, I will NOT be posting any new artwork/content until further notice.
I will continue to post these through other channels, of which I will link below.

I'm not going to delve into what I think of eclipse.
All I will say is that I don't like how mobile-orientated it is, the lack of customisation, lack of usable core features,
and how my notifications are split up (including any notification that was saved on the old site being completely missing on Eclipse).

As you may already know, I am much more active on Discord, and I post to Twitter and Inkbunny as well.
I am considering reviving my FurAffinity account as well, and I may look into other alternatives to dA.

This is probably the last journal with a customised skin that you'll see on here.
I won't be updating the journal masterposts as I see no point in doing that now.
Any f2u items that were created for use on da will be archived.
I will work on setting up my page via Eclipse so it at least somewhat still portrays me, if that makes sense.

I'd like to organize a proactive event to show DA the possible results of a permanent Eclipse change-over. Instead of deactivating your accounts for good, or indefinitely boycotting the site, I'd like to make a Statement of Silence for those Users against Eclipse. Starting May 1st, I will not be active on Deviantart. I will not submit new deviations, journals or even visit the site for 3 Days time. From 12:00AM CST May 1st to 12:00am May 4th. (3 days) I ask all other Users who wish to keep old Deviantart to join me in this statement of silence. 
Not Only Is Eclipse Difficult to Navigate, It is so close to Plagiarism it isnt funny. How they aren't in a Lawsuit with Artstation is beyond me!
